The Dakota Coyote Howler is a GREAT open reed predator call with a toneboard that was handmade from PVC pipe with a 5/8" (gray) or 7/8" (white) outside diameter. These
calls will blow easier and produce better sounds than most of the top calls on today's market. Depending on the callers ability and experience, you will be able to produce a
variety of sounds with AMAZING volume. Blowing various howls will have the coyotes coming to challenge the other coyote that has invaded their territory. The caller can also
produce sounds such as the rabbit in distress cries, deer in distress bleats, bird screeches, and canine distress. Once the caller masters all the sounds, the predators will
come a running to check them out. You will not need a horn or amplifier with either of these calls.
I have been making open reed predator calls for the past 20+ years and these calls have been used for calling various predators by many callers across the US. A great call for
your calling and your collection! DON'T WAIT you must have one of these calls! My open-reed calls are made from 5/8 and 7/8 inch outside diameter PVC pipe and the calls will
make a variety of sounds with varied pitches depending on the ability of the caller; I prefer the 7/8 inch calls but some callers prefer the smaller 5/8 inch call, because of the
smaller size. I feel that I can get more volume with the 7/8 inch toneboard. With these calls, the sounds made and the pitch depend on the position of the lips/teeth on the call
reed and volume of air produced. Practice makes perfect when it comes to using these calls.
